Review: Eatalian Café
Went to Eatalian in Gardena last weekend with a friend and had the best Italian food, and for the best price. It’s around a 30-minute drive, but well worth it once you get there. Lines may stretch outside the restaurant so get there early. The atmosphere is modern, yet relaxed. You can walk around and check out the dessert or coffee counters while you wait. We were seated pretty quickly and munched on warm bread with olive oil as our server went over the menu. We each got a pizza that was super-thin crust with lots of fresh ingredients.
I chose the Speciale, which came with tomato sauce, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil. My friend got the Greek: tomato sauce, mozzarella, Feta cheese, Kalamata olives. Both were great. As if I wasn’t full enough, I had to try the home-made gelato. They have loads of flavors - Pistacchio, Stracciatella, Cappuccino, Spagnola, Panna cotta, but I settled on the Hazelnut. I will definitely be going here again, and definitely want to try the pastas next.
