Review: Thai Vegan
After walking by this family-run kiosk on main street for months, we finally decided to go in and give it a try. It's a cute, little place where you order your dishes from the window and sit outside or inside on their wooden tables and benches. You may be surrounded by plants and furniture that they sell in the small store as you eat, or have a view of the parking lot, but it's well worth it once you take that first bite. We got three dishes:
- Soy Sauce Noodles Flat pan-fried rice noodle, tofu, broccoli, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, and pepper in mushroom sauce. - $7
- Panaeng Tofu Curry Spicy red curry past, coconut milk, tofu, green bean, carrots, broccoli, kabocha squash, bell pepper, brown sugar, and basil. -$5
- Tom Yum Lemongrass, tofu, mushroom, tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, chili, cilantro, lime. - $5
And all three dishes only came out to $17!. Everything was flavorful, tasty and a little spicy - in a good way. And the best part of the meal, no leftovers.
