The Taste was a four day, nine event, food frenzy that showcased celebrity chefs, unlimited food and beverages, cooking demos, panel discussions, live entertainment, gifts and much more.

The event, which was presented by The Los Angeles Times and Food & Wine magazine, kicked things off Friday, September 2 with Burgers & Beer in Beverly Hills as celebrated restaurants and chefs tried their hand at creating the perfect burger for guests to vote on.

Another highlight from the four-day event was Street Eats hosted by Susan Feniger at Paramount Studio in Hollywood on Sunday, September 4. Global Food trucks, diverse restaurants and chefs were on set to showcase their eclectic food, wine and spirits; favorites included: Akasha, Jitlada, Pitfire Artisan Pizza, Susan Feniger’s STREET, Clos LaChance Wines, Hornitos, Justin’s Vineyards & Winery and VeeV.

The Taste ended on a high note on Labor Day with a Picnic in the Hills hosted by Giada De Laurentiis. Families and friends munched down on gourmet picnic dishes from Breadbar, Got Kosher, Ice Ice Shavie, Literati Bar & Grill, Pizza Antica and more. Kids enjoyed face painting and crafts, while parents lounged on picnic blankets and pillows on the grass.
