Bread and Butter Radishes

Perfect picnic snack!

Servings: One mason jar


I bunch of radishes

1/2 cup vinegar (red or white)

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon mustard seed

1/4 teaspoon coriander seed

1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns

1 small white onion, thinly sliced


1. Rinse radishes and trim off leafy tops. Thinly slice radishes and set aside

2. Place ingredients (except radishes and onion) in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer for about 5 minutes.

3. Remove from heat and let for about 5 minutes.

4. Place radishes and onion slices in a glass mason jar and pour brine on top. Let cool, then refrigerate.
